Yes! We suggest sticking with dry ingredients such as nuts, dried fruits, or candy/flavored chips. Fresh fruits may add too much moisture and alter the final consistency. Stir the ingredient of choice into the dry mix before adding water, then bake as directed on the back of the package. Start with 1/4 to 1/2 a cup, then adjust to your liking the next time. Our Original Scone Mix is great for creating your new recipe! View our Recipe Page here to see other recipes that you can make with your scone mix.

Of course! We’ve included a simple glaze recipe on the back of every package: Stir together 1 cup of powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon of milk and 1⁄2 teaspoon of vanilla until smooth. Then drizzle over cooled scones. You can switch the milk and vanilla for the juice of a fresh fruit as well, such as orange or lemon juice. View our Recipe page for other glaze recipes.
